Who D’ya Know?

What do John Shearer, Vickie Morris and Will Crutchfield have in common with Roy Neuberger, Ruby Dee and Sarah Bracey White?  Well, John Shearer was a famous photographer, while Will Crutchfield is an opera guy; and actress Ruby Dee and Roy Neuberger, founder of the Neuberger Museum of Art, might not have crossed paths.  But…they are all arts luminaries who have been honored with an Arts Award from ArtsWestchester during one of the 25 years of the program’s existence. So have Debbie and Alan Simon, Lee Pope, Caroline Bauman, Seth Soloway, Richard Dannenberg and Renata Scotto. And, not to be outdone, so have Benjamin Cheever, Ray Blue, Silas and Vicki Ford, Jan Adelson, Stephen Apkon, Peter Pucci and Etta Jones. So, here’s the question: who d’ya know who deserves an Arts Award in the year 2020?  It could be an artist or an arts patron.  It could even be a community or education stand-out.
